Brand Identity

The Challenge

Combined Building Services (CBS) is a pipe fabrication business that supplies pipes (steel & copper) to Mechanical Services, Fire Protection and Commercial Plumbing businesses. The core objective of the brand identity was to represent the company and its brand in a simplistic, efficient and uncomplicated manner.

The Solution

To fulfil CBS brand identity core objective, Imaginitis created a brand identity mood board that derived key words; rounded, robust, solid, flow, connected and curved to name a few words. All visual solutions for the brand identity reflected these key words.

The graphic icon is made up of three circles that represents pipes. The pipes are inter-connected (as per pipes adjoining) and overlap, creating an engaging flow. Three circles (pipes) were purposely used to symbolise CBS offering to market – Mechanical Services, Fire Protection and Commercial Plumbing businesses. The pipes and the typography are solid in form, robust, symbolic of quality and durability whilst maintaining circular movement and rounded curves (flexibility). The tagline ‘expert pipe fabricators’ summarises CBS brand main function at a glance.

The Outcome

The new brand identity delivered a distinctive and professional market presence, clearly communicating CBS’s expertise with simplicity and confidence. The cohesive visual identity strengthened brand recognition, reflected the company’s core values and established a strong foundation for future business growth.
