The Challenge
Imaginitis’ objective was to create a unique and modern positioning for the Emperor brand. The product was targeted at those who desired gourmet, wholesome and authentic Asian food/snacks.
The Solution
Imaginitis developed a ‘grass roots’, home-grown, authentic and quality image. The photography portrayed ingredients within a rustic disposition (natural, unrefined). Recycled woods and tree leaves supported it within a rural country setting. The rustic image was further extended to the typography and colour. The product information was presented prominently and concisely. It carried a clear message of benefits in a way that’s easy to identify and understand.
The Outcome
The launch exceeded sales forecasts, validating the new positioning and packaging strategy. Strong consumer acceptance reinforced Emperor’s authentic, premium appeal and strengthened its presence within the competitive Asian food category.
